Yes, in the end we dropped out the stories, they just expanded on the brief bullet points you can find at the beginning and during the adventure where you can meet Black Feather. The reference was supposed to be deleted and did not get cut. I have also made up other stories since then about how Black Feather was arrested for attacking men in the swamp who were fishing using dynamite, and it was the dynamite that woke up the slumbering god. I'd recommend have fun with it and use the guidelines to improvise and expand on the bullet point stories provided.

SPOILERS No, it is a vial of the serum, so they can go back and begin to work on the antidote. This allows them to make the replicas needed for part 1 of Thunderclap. When the doctor dies, he points to a button on the console. When you push it, it opens a container that has the last serum. The Syrians had taken the rest along with the notebook and antidote. One thing I did was copied images from google earth for all the buildings described in the book from Latvia. You can't do that for the Aleppo parts but you can for the Latvian portions.

I went on google earth and found most of the buildings described in the book for the cities in Latvia. Looked at the highways described and saved images of the buildings to show the agents. This gave everyone a better feel for what they were looking at. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions about ODF. We had a blast playing it.
